Breaking: Nigeria Clinch Eight Bronze

Ighalo’s goal against Tunisia gave him a two goals lead advantage over Mane and Mahrez who are on three goals respectively.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria won Tunisia with a slight 1-0 win to clinch their eight Bronze medal at the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday night at the Al Salam Stadium.

An early goal in the third minute from the current top scorer with five goals, Forward Odion Ighalo in the first-half gave the Super Eagles of Nigeria the lead and was enough for a win.

Ighalo’s goal against Tunisia gave him a two goals lead advantage over Mane and Mahrez who are on three goals respectively.

Unfortunately, few second to the half time, he sustained a hamstring injury and brought his action for the night to an end.

The two teams made diverse efforts to close the lead or farther the lead but not good break the deadlock in the second half, until close to the end of the second half where substitute Samuel Kalu strike two astonishing freekick but the effort was saved by the Tunisia goalkeeper, Moez Ben Charifa.
