The convener of the proposed revolution protest, Omoyele Sowore, a devoted human rights activist and former presidential candidate for AAC has been stopped by the management of his Alma mater from speaking as a guest at an event at the University of Lagos.

This came after excessive pressure from the federal government over proposed mass protest to be spearhead by Sowore.

The Sahara Reporters founder, Omoyele Sowore is leading the nationwide protests against the Nigerian establishment tagged “#RevolutionNow” “Days of Rage” which is billed to hold on Monday, August 5, 2019.

Sowore had earlier been invited as a guest speaker by the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, UNILAG branch, for an academic counselling seminar scheduled for August 3, 2019, at the J.F Ade Ajayi Auditorium.
