Kemi Olunloyo And The Macabre Dance By Tunde Akingbondere

Of the few Nigerians whose steps and temperament had overtime generated a lot of empty controversies, side-talks and disinformation, is a pharmacist and second child of an erstwhile governor of Oyo State, Olukemi Omololu-Olunloyo.

Olunloyo junior mustered what she has not made in sound character in voice, she is this mobile compendium and whose nosy leadership had earned a barrage of discrediting stars.

I begin to think she was enticed into the dignified world of journalism by that sweet voice, good head of hers. She should have waited a bit, expunge from her diary the interest in every available opportunity to attract attention, even when she lacks enough in facts.

Things appear to have turned upside down in the corpus of our Nigerian country. Sometimes it becomes moribund, that you find it difficult to even discern truth from truths, and cleverly woven intrigue from the revolutionary movement against falsehood.

In 2017, Olunloyo took up the innocent and defenceless daughter of popular comedian Seyilaw, calling her out for being obese, diabetic. She thereafter came to apologise after she discovered how nasty such a qualification can be for a gentle, little girl of less than a year of age.

Olunloyo who detests being called a controversial journalist has broken a terrible news while seeing to the esoteric and macabre dance of hers. This happened just recently when she came to reflect on the popular story of Sylvester Oromoni, who was reportedly lynched to death by a league of cultic students at the Dowen school.

The sex toy promoter and supposed journalist spoke ill of the dead by stating in express terms that Sylvester Oromoni accepted to be initiated into the cult. She further revealed that the engine oil poured down his throat was part of the initiation process. Hmmm!

The pen-pusher of international repute surfaced in public to claim that Mazi Nnamdi died and that he will be buried soon. The secessionist in MLK took no time in coming to deliver the public from the inglorious and highly denigrating news of his own death. This was via a live broadcast where he said he isn’t Buhari or cloned Jubril. The most terrible of her woes, I think. Attacking the gargantuan of Biafra?

Despite being a prisoner of conscience and foremost critic of the capitalist foundation upon which the political and justice system of Nigeria is established, It had cost Kemi nothing to identify with Lai Mohammed, who is notorious for having a dozen of fairy tales in his pouch.

She gave herself the credibility that is not and by leveraging on her travels overland and seas. Nothing could have qualified the personality of the journalist if not the erratic person of Mr. Femi Fani Kayode, who is being haunted by the venom in his own decision. They both share something in common! Talking from both sides of the mouth.

Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo leveraged on the believable lie woven by the office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Ogbeni Lai Mohammed. She said there was never massacre at the Lekki toll gate, not even when she was monitoring the entire process with the lens of her intercontinental journalism.

Nobody would reckon this statement, as it happens to be coming out of what inmates incarcerated at the terrible Port Harcourt prison become. I think she likes to join the ruling class, just like Mr. Fani Kayode who said one cannot be principled without power.

My personae called herself a beast, since she happens to be an alumna of the Institute of human Breakers (Port Harcourt prison). I insist that prisons should be a place of rehabilitation and not the den of traumas.

I feel devastated at this point. My devastation is not borne out of the usual macabre dance of Olunloyo. In fact, the highly inglorious dance steps had translated to the work of a foremost comedian, good at his Art.

I feel bad because the evil spirits has now turned her against her helpers. One of them is Comrade Omoyele Sowore, who willingly made his Sahara Reporters available for the mobilization of funds and just immediately after she was let off the hook of dreaded Port Harcourt prison. The lousy was almost dying from the traumatic experience of the prison glitches.

I think this comrade provided leadership and funds, not because he has excess but in the true spirit of comradeship. It is the height of disservice and ingratitude for the said comrade to be seriously maligned, dragged in the filthy pit others were unjustifiably dragged.

Olunloyo earlier played one of the roles attributed to Fani Kayode, he did some unsolicited jingles for Omoyele at his campaign during the struggle for the presidency in Ibadan. “The Sowore is transparent and would make the Nigerian President on my attaining 54,” those were the words traced to polemical Olunloyo. Not until she took to her page to spill what she will forever regret today, saying Sowore got $500,000 dollars to get Jonathan off power.

This had generated a moral crisis within her. It also pitched another avenue for those who are aware of Olunloyo’s fake, jejune and outrightly incredible journalism to merry. She appears to be bereft of the point of information on the need for whoever will assert to prove in law. I doubt if she can prove.

I also implore Sowore not to dignify this ignominious, misguided and highly deluded publication, as it has no substance whatsoever. It is nothing but a tissue of falsehood, protruding from the belly of a professional pusher of fairy-tale, fables and defamation. There is no reason dragging issues this time. It could have made some sense to visit the court, press charges against any other person but not Kemi Olunloyo. You cannot dignify a potential windowdresser, mischief-maker and pusher of fictitious journalism.
